Download VOSviewer version 1.2.1

The latest version of VOSviewer is version 1.4.2. This version of VOSviewer uses different file formats than some earlier versions. Download VOSviewer version 1.2.1 only if you need to work with the old file formats of VOSviewer. If you do not need to work with the old file formats, please download VOSviewer version 1.4.2.

To run VOSviewer, version 6 of Java needs to be installed on your system. If you do not have version 6 of Java, you can download it here.

If you are using a Windows operating system, you can download and run VOSviewer version 1.2.1 by taking the following steps:

  1. Download this ZIP file.
  2. Unpack the downloaded ZIP file.
  3. Run the VOSviewer executable file.

If you are not using a Windows operating system, you need to take the following steps:

  2. Unpack the downloaded ZIP file.
